Day 24 & 25

Day 24

Saturday. A bit of shopping with Seth and Pee Paw. A change of evening plans ending in a delightful surprise.  Seth took me into Orlando to Lake Eola.  We arrived about 8:45 pm.  The lake is in the middle of downtown Orlando. It is a flat mirror with roosting swans, geese and ducks surrounded by skyscrapers with a large fountain near the center.  On the banks of the lake is a small pier where we rented a swan shaped paddle boat. We paddled around the lake. Seth must be trying to break me of all my water worries. It was terrible romantic and slightly awkward as we became the scenery for the people walking around the lake.  There were lots of people. After our boat time was up, we strolled around the lake and then settled on a bench to wait for the lightshow. At the appointed hour, music floats down from the trees surrounding the lake and the fountain dances in color to the music. A most romantic evening.

Day 25

Sunday. Nursery with Aunt Katie. Fast Sunday with testimonies. A woman bore, no sang, her testimony over the pulpit. It was dynamic and colorful, and very Baptist.
