Rebekah's First Day

Rebekah started first grade this week. She was nervous, excited, and anxious. So was I. For weeks she has teetered between not wanting to go and be excited about it. Everyone familiar with the school says her teacher is the nice one (there are 4 for the 1st grade) and very sweet. Well, if you know Rebekah, you know that's what she needs. The first two days went well. At home, we miss her a ton. I'm a bit of a clock watcher. Lily and John will have to find a balance without Rebekah. Lily wants to create, John wants to demolish. But they each want to play with someone.

Here she is at her first day. And Lily won't be left out of her best friend's life. Sisters are forever.
