boy talk

As I tucked Adam in bed a few nights ago, I tried to get him to repeat "I love you" to me. It went like this:

Mom:   I
Son:     I
M:   love
S:    wuv
M:  you.
S:    ooo.
M:      I
S:       I
M:   love
S:   wuv
M:    you.
S: rucks. (trucks)

True to his heart.

Tuesday, John was describing a shape to me and it went like this:

"It had an edge here and then it went like this and then sh ch zzzzzzzzzzzz ssssshhhshshshshsh whoooosh sschoog. Life that."

All the while his hands were drawing the shape in the air. Those two elements combined, I am supposed to understand that cool shape, but I am still in the dark. What does "sschoog" look like anyway?
