Sam just stood over me and said "Mom. We nee chickens playing the lano." His animated face, bright eyes, extended vibrant hands urged me off the floor. And, my mind flashed back to yesterday at church. Halfway through a hymn, he handed me the hymn book we had been pointing to words in, turned 90 degrees to face the arm of the pew as we were on an edge. Then he started "playing the lano" along with the organist. He played the rest of the song. I could not be very solemn at that. This boy loves the piano. Thank you Jon Schmidt.
